For a number of reasons, I am considering pay-as-you-go broadband. Does
anyone here have any recommendations?

If only they did.

I had to leave Plusnet in order to get a BT engineer sent out to fix a fault.
Plusnet refused to accept I had a line problem. It *was* a line problem and it
took the guy from 'Openreach' about 15 minutes to fix it.

That's what I joined up to as a back-up when my Virgin Media cable
connection became flakier than a box of Kellogg's cereal!

Still using it purely for VOIP with all general internet traffic going
over ukonline adsl both of which are a breath of fresh air compared to
Virgin Media.

Saying that.... of late, I have noticed Entanet giving problems for a
few hours usually around the 09:00 hrs time and have occasionally had to
switch my VOIP connections to run over the UKonline (sky - easynet)
connection for the mornings at least.

Though this has only been 2 or 3 days over the last fortnight.

UKonline here at home going through a BT 2Mbps connection unlimited for
£15 a month.

Has been faultless for the last 2 years.
