Im considering using Pipex as my Broadband Provider. I would be interested
in views of people who are with pipex or have had experience of them.

thanks

I`ve been with them since February this year, and overall, i`m very
impressed with the reliability and lack of problems.

I think there have been two outages - one was mail for a few hours, and I
can`t remember what the other was (couldn`t connect when I left for work,
and it was fine when I came home).

I`m happy with the level of service i`m getting for £23.44 a month, and
i`ve been on the net since ~1994 and i`ve used a lot of ISPs.

Macca shocked all on uk.telecom.broadband at Sun, 21 Sep 2003 21:50:08

I have used the Solo Xtreme 512 package for 18 months. Very good
connection - good network, reliable, good quality for low ping gaming. P2p
not blocked yet. Good quality for money.

However, their news server and web space can be problematic. Support on
the other hand seems quite good, as long as you pick up the telephone, and
don't leave it to email. I have applied for the 1000 upgrade.

Excellent so far, been with them for about 6 months. Reliable, fast (except
usenet). I can't comment about support as I've never had to contact them,
but thats a good thing.
