When being chased by a hungry dragon, you only have to out run the slowest
person in the group... not the dragon.

Won't stay :/

In our attempts to fix this, we made a configuration error
that has as result that nothing got fed anymore to the binary
spool. So you had the whole binary spool available to
server articles. Ofcourse that was fast, but getting no
new articles doesn't really help either does it. Has been
fixed in the mean time, but we're back to the old situation...

Hrm, shouldn't be. Textarticles follow a different route, as long
as they are detected as textarticles.

Goto http://www.nntpworld.com/ sign-up and help test this new server and
see what a real fast server behaves like.

It wont be available for long though as it will go pay as soon as the bugs
are out of it.

If you do, don't use a real credit card number though.

That was terranews. Loads borked. Lots of people complaining about it.
Don't use teranews to post here is the only answer

not trying to be clever, but you do realise that entering a nonreal

Only if you're attempting to buy something. Which in this case you're

Not quite the same thing as getting free goods or services. These offers
of "free" or "trials" are *not* conditional on you buying goods - so you
are not obtaining goods or services by deception, because if the offer
*were* to be conditional on buying the goods they would not be free or
on trial.

You been to the page in question?

The owner of the servers wants them testing and specifically says don't
enter a real CC number.

It just took me 38 seconds to retrieve your post. I think your optimism is
sadly misplaced!
