Afternoon all
Does anybody know when plusnet are removing the deferred activation fee?
I joined them in April 2005 and am looking to exit post haste to Zen.
I seem to recall that they were going to remove the charge - is there a
timescale for this - response below 27th Feb
Sic "At present you would still need to pay the deferred line
activation fee of £47, but we are in the process of revising the
deferred fees, and if they have been in place for more than twelve
months, they are likely to be written off so that you do not have to pay
them. We expect to make an announcement about this in the next few weeks.
Regards,
Richard Unsworth"
Cheers

The current timescale is the end of March for this to be removed.
Is there anything I can do in the meantime to resolve your issues?

I can however, assure you that performance on the lesser prioritised
protocols will improve over the next few weeks, particularly for Silver
traffic.

prove it, quickly, or take the consequences (very bad!).
Things are changing here at PlusNet and the difference will be very
visible in a short time period, I know you've probably heard that before
too so i'll stop there. Actions speak louder than words and all that.

It's remarkable the galvanising effect that the new Ofcom regs have had
on certain ISPs... (Bugger me, if we can't lock people in we're just
going to HAVE to find a way to offer them a service which at least
tries to match the promises we made to get them signed up...)

Get rid of the PUG along with Neil Armstrong and Ian Wild with the rest of
the hoods that have been sacked recently, start delivering a service suited
to customers rather than shareholders and I might consider Plusnet again.
Oh and stop the spin, it still does not wash, even from a Female Plusnet rep
Sorry..

Oh c'mon, how many times have Plusnet said they are getting better and got
worse?
I'm eternally the optimist too, but really, this is Plusnet we are talking
about here.
