=======================

Thats good, I need at least 50mb which is what I have now and I need to be
able to send and recieve at least 10mb files, and with them having 250mb web
space it is looking much better than what I have at the moment with internet
central, though I have email from 1and1 but am looking at consolidating to
save money

Email is a really crap way to transfer big files. The 7-bit encoding
required adds about a third to the size of the file. Do it some other
way - FTP or HTTP.

Yup - there's far better ways to do it, but sometimes its just not feasable
to use these other methods - eg. recipient doesn't have an FTP server, or
your recipient is in a different timezone and you can't keep your machine on
when they need to pick it up via HTTP etc.

Ever tried using those "Online Storage" systems (Xdrive etc). Basically a
server where you can stick your stuff, and others can get it.

I've never used them BTW, just suggesting!

Another idea is to use your Plusnet WWW space - create a directory not
linked from anywhere, and stick your file up in a password protected ZIP
file (just in case).

You could always leave your PC on ;-)

--------------------------

If I did move to Plusnet the web space would be used up for my web sites and
I use email because it is the easiest way for me to send the files I need to
send to my friends and email does add a lot of extra padding to an email but
then ftp or http can also use a lot of bandwidth if data needs to be resent
during the download
