Hi everybody...
Is anyone out there having problems with Virgin broadband?
I have a Netgear DG834G which has been running fine for two years, the
stopped connecting to the internet, after many and various calls t
Virgin it magically reconnected, without their help, now it
disappeared again.
The ADSL light shines a wonderful shade of green, and virgin claim the
can see my modem, but still no connection.
I've tried using their speedtouch modem connecting it directly to th
phoneline, as per their instructions, but still nothing...
Is anyone else having this problem...Are they covering something up..

Yes I too have been having the same problem with Virgin for about a
week. They did a reset for me and I got going again for a while. Now
when it happens I reset my router or type in http://195.92.249.131
One or sometimes both of these get me going. I have done a tracert to
Virgin when I'm down and the ip address it fails at belongs to NTL.
Trying to explain this to Virgin is like trying to explain quantum
physics to a two year old the conversation stalled at the mention of ip
address! I guess somebody at Virgin is aware of the fault but if anybody
cares well that is another matter.

Temporary fault? Been a week now and it is happened again tonight.
I will give it to Easter but after many years dial-up and then broadband
with Virgin I'm tempted to change.
