"It's official. We're the UK's fastest broadband"

That's funny, I thought BE was at 24MB?

ASA too.
I think Virgin Media must be officialy the most complained about ISP in
the UK.
I bet they won't stick that on any of their pages.

Sounds reasonable if the ASA stuff applies to websites.

Why on earth do they DO IT ?

Are the top nobs at Virgin simply so incompetent they don't even KNOW it's an
fraudulent claim ?

They claim to be faster than Be - even than Idnet!

I don't know why they do it.
It's as if there's a deadline somewhere that they are aiming for.
A deadline where they have to get as many people to sign a contract as
possible.
What happens after this deadline I don't know...

They are lies, they know that a lot of what they say are lies, but they
don't seem to care.
They can't come up with excuses for every single one of them.
Something is about to happen, I can feel it! )

Yes you did, you said it by correctin me about them claiming to be
officialy faster than BE.
Don't be so modest...

I've just looked at this again.

It's official. We're the UK's fastest broadband - 3 times faster *that*
AOL, BT and Tiscali. Join *to* today

Are they employin kids to write this stuff?

Posted by Henry Ross on November 4th, 2007

Gonz didn't say that Be was the fastest. He merely posited that Be offered
a 24MB service, comparing it to Virgin's claim. He made no claim that it
was the fastest available service on the market.

On the contrary,i snipped out the bit about VM claiming to be the fastest
and just left your statement that you thought Be were the fastest. So it's
obvious that that is what i was replying to when i said you were wrong.
Of course i can understand you doing your normal trick of pretending the
reply was to something other than it was as it'll save you having to admit
you were wrong

No he didn't....read his first post again. He quotes VM's claim to be the

not) so he is claiming that,in his mind at least,Be are the fastest.

Notice he's quoting VM as saying they are the fastest then he says that he
thought Be was.So he is saying he thinks they're the fastest and not just
saying they're faster than VM.
