- ACER TM 4670 and Kubuntu (Feisty Fawn) install problem
- Posted by ToolPackinMama on July 11th, 2007
I tried installing the latest Kubuntu on my Acer TravelMate 4674, and
although I can boot to the live CD OK, I have no USB mouse and no
touchpad function. Since the machine has no ps/2 port, I can't use that
type of mouse...but the touchpad is supposed to be recognized as ps/2
compatible.
Anybody got any helpful insights for me?

Their are 2 versions of the Feisty ISO. I had to use the
second version the one for difficult installations (I don't
remember what its called). When I used that ISO on my
dv8100cto it got everything including my Broadcom wireless
card though there was a separate DEB I had to run to make
the Broadcom card function properly.
