- Asus L 3340... opinion?
- Posted by mcastell on October 15th, 2003
I'm wondering if to buy a Notebook Asus L 3340 (AMD XP 2500+, 256 Mb DDR,
40Gb HD, DVD etc..) and I'd be curios if anyone here could tell me (or
point me at some web resource) if it's worth buying (I found if available
for about 1150 Euros) or if for similar prices there are better
alternatives..
Also I'd be interested in understanding if it's easy to install linux on it,
if someone knows...
Thanks in advance for any hint.

* mcastell:
For onyl 1100,- you can already get an Asus Centrino Notebook (M2400N -
1.3GHz, 256MB RAM, 40GB hd, DVD/CD-RW, shared memory graphic chip). I
bought mine at <htp://www.notebooksbilliger.de>.
Take a look at <http://www.tuxmobil.org>. There you can find a lot of
useful resources for linux on laptops.
