caught my eye

Avartec was the only ones that were compact and
portable

All others I looked at in CC and Best Buy looked like
desktop replacement

To my way of thinking Id just as soon have a real

Sort of - only problems is bits have broken (maybe not that good quality
control?), and as I live outside North America cannot get it fixed under
warrantee. The DVD drive stopped working about 7 months in. I now also have
one key combination working intermittently (Capital T - hah it worked that
time...)

But if I could have got these problems fixed under warrantee I'd still be
happy. Their email customer support isn't too good though (see previous
thread)

But it was good value for money, and I think the screen isn't too bad

still, it seemed unnecessarily large and unwieldly. could it even be a
weird advertising point? like saying they can replace desktops because,
look, they are almost as big!
