Experiencing some challenges setting up this new system with Mandriva.
To begin with the battery has been charged a good 24 hours.

When connected to A/C power the system will boot. If under battery
power it always seems to hangup when bring up X. What might cause this?

I've noted that the system identifies the graphics card as a SiS
Real256E. According to the documentation it is a M760GX. Another
distro finds it as a SiS 660. Wondering if others using this same
graphics card have found a better setting to use?
