My father in-law spilled a diet coke on his Compaq Presario 1800. The
computer seems to function ok with an external keyboard attached but
shuts down when the onboard keyboard is used. Mainly just the keys t,
y, u, 5 and 6. Every other key responds and works fine. I have
replaced the keyboard with a new one and cleaned all the connection
and inside with an electoro contact cleaner. Still no luck. Not sure
what else to try. Anyone have any idea's? Thanks.
