- Dell c610/DL1450 minicpi won't power
- Posted by jstack@snet.net on February 19th, 2006
Hello. Dell C610 will not power up with minipci DL1450 card installed.
Tried 2 cards. Dell pointed me the the available drivers for my laptop
and telling me that no driver is listed so the card is not supported.
Seems like I should be able to install any minipci card in a minipci
slot.
Any advice appreciated.

What information does BIOS setup have with the card installed? Is there
an "enable" setting, for example?

Well, Dell is probably correct: the mini pci slot was designed for their
proprietary card.
