- Dell Decontents Latitude Line Again
- Posted by SMS on May 17th, 2007
Dell just introduced the D630 as a replacement for the D620.
Two features that disappeared are infrared and the option for non-UMA
graphics. The D620 has been removed from the web site, though it's still
there through some affiliate programs, and by phone, at least for a
while, though the prices have gone up.
This continues the steady decontenting of the Latitude line. Plus, they
still don't have 1394 on the D6x0 line.

The D620 is still available on the web site. If you go into the D630
under small business and select 'Customize It' then it's shown.
One thing the D630 has done is moved up to processors with an 800 MHz
fsb.
