I'm trying to install Windows 2000 Pro on my just bought i1100. So far so good
I managed to get everything installed or configured however I did have two issues:

1) PCI card (modem I guess?) was giving me hard time, Win2k including SP4 wasn't able to
by its own find a driver for my modem. Eventually I used the driver that is on the download
web page for my i1100.

2) I can't seems to be able to install "Dell Notebook System Software, Utility"
I get an error message "can't install on this OS" or something like that
even though the description on the web site mentions Windows 2000.
(Even the software test documentation mentions Windows 2000).

This means I can not run the windows version of Dell diagnostics software, I was
wondering if anyone knows what to do about #2....
