- Forgot Password on Toshiba Satellite

Hi,
Son of friend of mine has a laptop from Toshiba Satellite 2615DVD, and he
forgot the his boot password during last summer vacation . I have looked up
Toshiba support website, it said that this pc needs to go to their service
center to reset the cmos setting. But there should be some way to reset the
cmos setting, like pulling the cmos battery out of the pc. I have tried all
the techniques that I know of, but none of those reset the cmos setting.
Please, help me to reset the cmos setting.

AFAIK, there is a special dongle that plughs into one of the ports to
clear the password.
