Oscar,
TP 770 series is well built and has one of the best
keyboards in the industry.

I have used and supported six 770, 770x & 770z models
and found them to be very reliable desktop replacements.
Regards ... John

series, in my opinion. Excellent keyboard, display, build quality,
good features. Slow by current standards, though - the fastest were
less than 400Mhz, iirc.

Even given the slow speed, it'll run XP pretty well. Only issues I've had
with mine are the LCD inverter going south (replaced), and recently, the
Trackpoint has developed a mind of it's own (had to disable it and plug in
an external mouse).

Where did you find an inverter? Been looking for a few!

I bought one off of Ebay...no problems with it.
Helpful hint---the inverter from the 770 13.3" B display will interchange
for the 770X 13.7" if you can't find the correct part number for the latter
(or if you don't want to pay THAT much!)
