how to set screen blanking time
Posted by Joseph Fenn on October 6th, 2007

In WINXP pro on my Lenovo I am constantly anoyed when creating an image
or even sometimes in DEFRAGGING the c: drive the screen just blanks
off. Eveything continues normally, but every few mins maybe 5 to 10
mins the darned screen blanks off and forces me to hit some keys to
resume the display screen. There must be a timer I can set say to
15 mins or so to prevent this
I use winxp/pro

Right click on the screen and choose Properties. On the Screen Saver tab
choose Power. Adjust the Monitor time out for what you want.
