i dont have run on start menu

im trying to renew ip address on my ibm x31 running xp....instructions
say to press start and click run....i dont have run ...i have help and
support...search and then access ibm....how do i get to run,,,thanks

Right click on Start and choose Properties. In the Start Menu tab click
customize and then the Advanced tab. Scroll down near the bottom and check
"run command".

With the start menu open, hold the shift key and press the 'r' key
