It has happen many time already.
After work I make my laptop (Toshiba) into hibernate and put it into
carrying bag.
Back to home, I open the bag and find that my laptop is ON.
and it is very hot.
Open the lid, and find that the bateries has only 30% remain!!!

stay in a place where nobody and nothing can touch it and where it is
not moved around. The first reasonable explanation that comes to mind is
that somehow, the "on " function is triggered, either by the ON button
being depressed in the carry bag. This is probably too obvious an
explanation but ...

An application can control whether or not a suspend/hibernate is
allowed. I'm using Quicken on a laptop and regularly see messages like
"Quicken is unable to enter standby mode. Please close Quicken before
proceeding" when I return to the laptop afterwards.
Sometimes it has actually suspended/hibernated and the laptop entered a
low power mode. Other times, all that happens is the screen saver is
activated.
All you can really do is to check your status lights to ensure it has
actually suspended before putting it in your bag.

Second that! Many program and operating system states can prevent a
full, successful shutdown, hibernation, or standby. Just seeing the
"shutting down" screen is not enough. Wait until all hard drive
activity ceases and the power light goes off before closing that lid;
I've also seen times when a computer woke from standby owing to a
system or program message (such as "low battery"!).
