Something I've noticed is that laptops (even high-end ones) tend not
to have video hardware with flashable firmware.
Any ideas why this is? I would have thought things needed to be
patched on laptop hardware just like desktops. But for a laptop, you
can't just buy a new plug-in card, which should make flashable
firmware all the more important!
