Hi,

I have a Compaq Presario R3000

1. Laptop runs on battery .
2. Laptop charges battery from mains when the laptop is off
3. When the battery is in and power lead connected, laptop starts but
runs off battery (since charging light on battery doesn't light up and I
know it is not at 100%).
4. When battery is out and power lead connected, laptop starts and then
stops after few seconds, before XP begins loading.

Can this be resolved?
