- let batt cool before recharge?

Hello,
From my days in racing built-it-youself remote control cars, I know
that if I want a battery to last, I have to let it cool before giving it a
recharge. Does the same apply to laptop batteries?

Probably a good idea, though not absolutely vital usually, unless it's >50C.
