I am looking for a recent notebook which has dual head support, i.e. can
display two different parts of the desktop if an external monitor is also
connected. Anyone knows if the Elitegroup Desknote 92x or recent IBM
Thinkpads have this capability (the chipset should). I'll be running Linux
but first of all the feature has to be available in hardware, then I'll
cope with the Linux SetUp.

Ich suche ein aktuelles Notebook mit dual head support (ein grosser Desktop
auf ext. Monitor und internes LCD verteilt). Weiss jemand, ob das
Elitegroup Desknote 92x oder aktuelle IBM Thinkpads diese Faehigkeit haben
(die Chipsaetze unterstuetzen es IMHO). Ich werde Linux benutzen, aber
zunaechst muss das Feature in Hardware vorhanden sein, dann kuemmere ich
mich
