- Mobility X600 and Radeon Mobility 9700??

Hi, All:
I'm familiar with ATI's Mobility Radeon 9700, so I'm wondering how the
mobile X600 compares? I understand that the X600 is supposed to be the
successor to the 9700, but I also read that the X600 performs like a
9800 Pro..?? And apparently the nomenclature is the same for vastly
different-performing desktop and laptop versions...?!?!
