Notebook with DVI
Posted by kws8207 on September 28th, 2007

Hi., I'm thinking to buy a Toshiba P100, but I saw that there is no
models with DVI.
since I want to use my notebook as a primery computer in the office,
and connect it to normal LCD this matter is very crucial to me. So :
a) is there any notebook model with DVI output ?
b) I understnad that most of the notebooks have a docking station that
contain DVi but how the docking station get the DVI ? is it just an
extension from the regular VGA port to the DVi or it somehow connect
to the graphic card in the laptop and transmit a true DVi.

Thanks.,

Cesar,
Asus F3Sv series laptops have DVI output. Try ZipZoomFly.com,
gentechpc.com, or newwegg.com for these 14.5 in laptops with DVI out. Also
the Dell17" XPS has DVI out , Cost 2200.00USD. The Asus, cost about 1300 to
1800.00 USD.
Good luck
