so i'm running a compaq nx9005 laptop with a o2micro OZ6933/OZ711E1
cardbus slot.
I have been able to get it up and visible no problem with the latest
drivers from the dell website. build: 5.1.2600.0
i am trying to run a n external hard drive and/or an external burner.
both units are having problems.
with the burner, it burns very slowly, DVD's at around 1hr 20. using
neros drive speed it appears to be dropping out quite often and teh
resulting transfer rate test looks like a whole lot of pits and
troughs.
to the hard disk, i get intermittent Delayed write failures. After
which i cannot write to the disk.
any help would be much appreciated.
