- Off Docking Station -- Folder Not Showing on Primary Laptop Screen
- Posted by seniorclie@gmail.com on August 14th, 2006
Firends -- I use a docking station at work. Apparently, the last time
I had a particular program open was when I was using dual monitors at
the office. Now, working from home, I can open the program, but the
window in which to operate the program is showing up on the external
monitor, which is not connected. So, I can't access the file even
though it is open on my computer. I've tried playing with the control
panel and display settings to no avail... and I've tried rebooting,
etc.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

It might be that you have to reconnect the second monitor and then shut it
down using the utility that controls these things (usually right click from
desktop).
