- Panasonic Toughbook touchscreen

Does anyone have any instructions on replacing the touchscreen for
toughbook cf-18 ? I replaced the lcd screen on one, the computer work
and the display is brilliant...however , the touch is totally no
functioning. I am at a great big loss

that properly identifies the screen to the BIOS. There are only 256
settings, so you could do a binary change on the dip switch until you
get the touch capability.
OTOH, it is possible that you have not installed the touch-capable
portion of the screen properly, or you did not get a touch-capable
screen at all.

Thanks for the info, the parts that I had didn't come with an
documentation so I pretty much tried to replace things like I foun
them. There is alot of doc's out there that tell how to replace LC
screens , but not alot that describe the touchscreens. I am confused
