After 25 years fooling around with desktops, I'm pleased with my first
laptop, an Averatec AV3255P1 for less than a kilobuck. Made in China, but
hell so's my son's IBM laptop. Overall performance quite surprised me for
the slim size and light weight.

Just thought this group could use a reassuring comment :^)
