Guys, Walmart has a special on a Dell 'puter here tomorow.
It has a 16x DVD +/- RW drive.
I never heard of this??
I want this 'puter mainly for spreadsheets.
Will this drive do CD's as well?
Can I copy spreadsheet files to my other computer which has double layer

Please help, I want to buy this on sale tomorrow morning.

Yep, this drive will burn on all media: DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW, and of
course CD!

YMMV, FJ

You need to find out exactly what this is, your description is ambiguous.

But all DVD burners will also burn CDs, and today, all DVD burners will
burn both + and - formats. MOST (NOT all) will burn dual layer. SOME
(few) will do "lightscribe" (a technique for labeling the non-data side
of special media).
