Thanks, Joe. Somehow I missed that I guess. Does that also charge the notebook's batteries at the same time? Or do I need an inverter for that? The ad for the Targus didn't make that totally clear (at least not to me).

Your laptop will work just like it was on AC--in other words the battery will charge. Just realize that most airplanes flying domestic routes still don't have the hookup for this. Most carriers flying over the ocean do. I've had one of those things for years, I fly every week, and I use it about twice a year, when I'm flying overseas. Of course if you travel in your car a lot, it would be a nice way to charge your laptop.
