The Synaptics website has drivers and utility program.

They list some of the control features. When I get my laptop from work, I'll
play with it. What do you want to happen when you tap it with your second
finger?

the touchpad a nightmare to use and the "second finger jump" was still
there. I'm surprised the Alps touchpad ignores it.
