Excellent - easily one of the best laptops on the market. No creeks, loose parts,
etc. even though it is a big and heavy beast.

The A series hasn't been updated in some time, so it is no longer on top in this
category. It's good enough for me ( P4M 1.8 processor.)

Your call - very business-like IMO.

AFAIK no. I've used my for many months, even in the tropics (95F, 100% humidity)
without any problems.
It is heavy, big and gets rather warm on the bottom, but not too warm to be
comfortably used on a lap. Battery life is less than 2 hours but you would not
expect it to be much longer with so much RAM, big hi-res screen (15" 1600x1200) and
other doodads.

Also, take a look at the new T40 laptops.
