A coworker/friend bought one. Set it on his desk and within an hour it had
burned a hole in the desktop. He put it back in the box and sent it back.

Funny- I played Battlefield 1942 for over an hour solid at a LAN party
with mine, and it never got hot at all. I think these Gateways are taking a
lot of negative comments just because they are new.

This was a year or two back when it happened, their new ones may have fixed
