The 2455 is a superb notebook.

Note that Toshiba "Satellite" notebooks fall into two groups, as has
been discussed here widely and often. Some models are made by Toshiba,
while other (lower priced) models are made for Toshiba by Compal in
Taiwan. The Toshiba-made models are generally far superior to the
Compal made models. The 2455 is a Toshiba-made model.

The 2455 is discontinued, however, and generally no longer available.
