Check out the Fujitsu P5000 which is hot right now. If you will be
able to get hold of the Japanese version, it also comes with DVD-RW.
YOu can purchase them online at laptopinc.com or euclidcomputers where
I got mine.

Size is much smaller than an A4 and it comes with 10.4 Wide SXGA.
Since I had mine, couldnt get enough of it. I have become a more
productive person with it because now I can get 4hours+ battery life
and it is only 3.6 lbs with the DVD/CDRW drive in place. The drive is
modular and can be swapped with a second battery and when the DVDRW
drive comes to the US, can be upgraded as well.
