People like you are responsible for the progressive decline of Usenet.
You started the *HIGHLY OFF TOPIC* Shoot-in in an equipment newsgroup.
Why are you afraid to conduct an *OFFICIAL* vote through UVV? Afraid,
wench? Your straw poll of 'dog pack' votes is not official and has no
bearing on reality.
In real life I *SPIT* on people like you.

Re the establishment of new moderated groups. This is very difficult to do
in Usenet, as you know, requiring several stages of proposal, voting, etc.
But setting up a moderated group is trivial to do in groups.yahoo.com. I
recommend it highly. One person may set up a moderated group with an area
for uploading images, a chat room, and access either via the web or email.
Then just chime in once in a while on Usenet and start to gather members
from those who are afraid to post for fear of being flamed (or "spat on"),
or who don't want their email sold to spammers.

real Gordon Moat. This post is from a troll spoofing Gordon's name,
probably in order to cast doubt on Gordon's contributions to this newsgroup,
which are considerable.

Not a group, a _news_group, a mailing list. Nothing wrong with mailing

This account is subject to a persistent MS Blaster and SWEN attack.
I think I've got the problem resolved, but, if you E-mail me
and it bounces, a second try might work.
However, please reply in newsgroup.

OK
So how does this change the validity of what Mike said?
