I was wondering, when a company (like targus) says their case can
take a computer up tp 13 x 11 x 2, can it actually do that, or is it too
tight to be convenient? My computer is 12.96 x 10.72 x 1.79, will it fit?

I don't know, I have some Targus cases that do not take computers which
they are recommended as taking. These are larger models with 15"
screens. Sometimes the recommended fit is quite optimistic.
