- Replacing hard drive in Toshiba. 315CDT

I put in a new 20G hard drive to install Windows 2000 (bootable CD)
and the bios didn't seem to recognize it. Can this machine recognize
this large of hard drive or is there a certain procedure to install a
new drive. Thanks for any help.
