My Toshiba Satellite display hinge broke so I sent the computer to be fixed.
When I received it back today I find I can use only 90% of the screen. The
display doesn't go all the way over to the right by about an inch. I'm used
to CRT displays that let you size the output picture to the display, but I
can find no similar way to fix my problem. Is it terminal?

Sounds like the LCD panel was damaged in transit. If so, there is no
fix other than replacement.

I called the outfit back and the tech told me to send it back at their
