I have a Toshiba Satellite M40x laptop and it states that it has a quick
play feature that enables users to perform CD & DVD playback without booting
to windows.
I cant seem to get this to work and the "users manual" isn't much help.
Any suggestions.

I phoned the Toshiba 1-800 number and asked.
Turn computer off (NOT hibernate) and then start up again with DVD or CD in
the drive.
Works a treat.
