please please
my hard drive has dissappeared from the BIOS. How do I open up the laptop
to see if the hard drive has disconnected

On the 2100cdt there is an access door on the side of the laptop. You
remove two screws from the bottom and the door will pull off. The hard
drive slides in and is retained by a single screw. There is a handle on the
drive to remove it.
