I recently picked up an Alienware 766 in need of (among other things)
a new video card. The manual calls for either a MR9600 or a GeForce
FX Go5600. I'm wondering whether I need versions of these cards that
are specific to Alienware, or whether I can just plug the MR9600
that's on eBay these days for Dell Inspirons.
