Ways to avoid repetitive stress injuries from extended laptop use?

I must spend 12 hours a day behind my laptop. I am concerned that in
years to come, I may have to worry about repetitive stress injuries.
Does anyone know of a good book or website that illustrates stretching
and other excersizes that can help limit long-term hand injuries from
laptop use?

For me if I use laptops for long stretch such as 8 hours a day or
more ,I take frequent breaks.
While typing,I also relax my wrist and move lightly as I press the
keys gently
I have to see to it that the keys in my notebook are soft touch type
and have to select among my units which I find comforable and less
tiresome to
"keyboard" for several hours.

There is also the problem of possible back injury. Good posture is
essential. Try several different possitions and change at the slightest
sign of any kind of tension in the back until you find one that suits you.

I too spend a lot of time at my laptop. Although I have an external
monitor, keyboard, mouse, and an USB TV tuner card all connected to it
sitting on a small computer desk. Plus it is being powered by an UPS.
Which is also connected to my alarm clock and cordless phone. And
pulling out just a couple of cables, I am portable. Although I have to
put my laptop battery in first. LOL
