- What Linksys device simply extends range?
- Posted by Dave on April 26th, 2005
Hi all,
Hope this isn't a dumb question - I have an 802g wireless network and
all works great, but I'd like more range so I can use my laptop on the
patio.
It's in the 'fringe zone' and tends to pick up neighbor's networks some of
the time since my own network is weak there.
What device do I want that will simply act as a 'repeater' to extend the
range of my network?
Thanks
Dave

read the manual on how to make it an extender of an existing WLAN.
