Does anyone know what the essential differences are between an Intel
2100 mini-PCI laptop internal WiFi card and a similar Intel 2200 card?

If the OP is familiar with C programming language, there are at
http://ipw2100.sourceforge.net and http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net driver
files available for Linux. Maybe it could be a good idea to compare the
source code of the 2100 with that one of the 2200.
