XP re-installed on an Inspiron 1501. Which drivers for wirelessbroadband and audio?

My brother's Inspiron 1501 came with Vista installed but ran so slow,
I persuaded him to let me install XP Home. However, as my (legit) copy
of XP was not supplied by Dell, I still need to install the relevant
drivers 1) to enable sound, and 2) to allow the Inspiron to connect to
the net on a wireless network as well as via ethernet. (I know I have
to install the necessary drivers because I had the same problem with a
Dell GX260 I bought last year.) I also know all about the 'driver
download' page on the Dell support site, but I don't know which I must
download and install to enable wireless networking and the sound on
the Inspiron. Can anyone tell me?

The first thing I would do is to grab the drivers with something like:

DriverBackup! (free)
http://sourceforge.net/projects/drvback/

Sometimes Vista drivers will work under Windows XP. But getting a copy
of the drivers is very important before wiping out the drive.

For others that read your post, I suggest that prior to doing any
downgrade of a Vista computer to XP, one checks with the vendor for
relevant XP drivers first. Most vendors DO NOT HAVE A COMPLETE SET OF
XP-COMPATIBLE DRIVERS for computers sold with Vista. Why would they?
