I'm posting this just to add it to search engines:

When configuring Adobe Acrobat and PaperPort under Win4Lin 5.0 I
discovered that the Printer drivers that allow you to print to Acrobat
or PaperPort were missing.

These are "software printers" that capture print output into specially
formatted files.

The solution is to install an LPT1 port on the Win4Lin system as
apparently the software drivers don't work unless an LPT port exists.
Once the LPT port is installed, the installation CDs for Acrobat and
PaperPort will enable the printer drivers.
