- compiling a livecd kernel

hi i copied my vmlinuz to my live cd and it does not work. do i need
to built some fs in the kernel. when it boot i get a couple of line
and then a black screen very quick. i copied my vmlinuz to the cd and
the lib folder. i could not find a the system.map or config files on
the slax live cd. i am trying to rebuild the slax vpnserver with mppe
128 built in a new kernel. my live cd is at
www.wittyadmin.com/slackmin.iso i only need to fix the kernel, clean
up the code and create a configs floppy to be done. thanks in advance
